Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. Real Oeiras is about fifteen minutes from the centre of Lisboa, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. There are a couple of decent restaurants nearby, within walking distance, plus a good restaurant in the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was incredible - lots of fresh fruit, juices, bread, hot sausages etc. It is located close enough to major highways that getting in and out of the city to travel around is quite easy. Once or twice there was a traffic holdup, but not major.
A great find with the price we paid! We were not having a high expectation with the price we paid. But we were surprised with what we got. The free parking space is huge even in American standard and I do not have to struggle to back in like in other places. The breakfast are wonderful and included! First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar.
