We arrive later than 8pm. Since this is a resident hotel, we need to keep in touch with the hotel to have somebody open the door for us. No big deal though. The building and room looks aged by actually quite cozy. We had the suite one but there is value for price. We face the river and the surroundings is quiet. If you don’t lock the windows, the street starts get busy around 8am. We needed to leave at 6am and the hotel helped us call a taxi (bus in Florence is not trivial). EXCELLENT service!...

This is a great location - an easy 20-30-minute stroll to the city center, meanwhile you get a taste of local non-touristy culture. It's close by to some incredible historic locations and we were perfectly at home there with 4 adults, 1 child. As for improvements, we were there in August and it was hot!
