"A friendly welcome, with special thanks to Martina and Francisco. The spa area was very pleasant and the indoor pool lovely and warm. Rooms were a little sparse."
"
We had high expectations given the price, which is comparable to international chains like Sofitel, but the experience fell far short.
The breakfast was very basic, with limited variety and low-quality options. The mattress in our room was saggy and uncomfortable. The kids’ room was noticeably cold, even with the heating on. The pool was overcrowded and the water was not clear, which made it unpleasant to use. The restaurant was also disappointing – the quality of the food did not match the price or the setting.
There was also a ping-pong table, but it was broken. None of the balls bounced properly, and the paddles were in very poor condition.
Additionally, we were charged VAT (IVA) separately, even though the invoice from the hotel only reflected the total amount already paid through hotels.com. It seems the VAT was included in the original price, but we were charged for it again upon check-in. This practice is not transparent and leaves us a very poor impression.
Overall, the facilities and service did not match the price point. A real shame – it reflects badly on Argentine tourism."
