We stayed in the Burns Suite to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel sent up a small cake to welcome us! The suite was large, elegant and has a lovely view of the grounds in the front of the hotel. The staff were attentive yet relaxed and friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Also - the Cromlix Afternoon Tea is excellent. Do stay for tea.
We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.!
Small b&b run by a wonderful couple. Old property but the two rooms are nicely upgraded and comfortable. Off street parking at the rear. Lovely breakfast served to order at the time you request the night before. Walking distance to restaurants and the Falls of Dochart.
Room was clean and comfortable, though with two beds and the sofa bed expanded, it was crowded. Kitchen facilities were extensive and fully stocked. Plenty of easy parking. Nice location, within walking distance of main street of Callander.
The place was spotless and conveniently located. The service was excellent. The people there are friendly and I really enjoyed the food at pub downstairs. The apartment was nicely set up and comfortable. The mattress in the main bedroom was somewhat aging and a couple of bulbs in the bathroom went out while I was there (which happens with bulbs on occasion). Neither one of these would prevent me from coming back. I liked the place and should I need to go to Crieff again, it is at the top...
Our stay at Stirling Court Hotel was quiet, comfortable and nestled in the beautiful University grounds. We enjoyed easy access to the bus to get to the picturesque town of Stirling. The hotel is within walking distance to William Wallace Monument...a must see.
The hot full breakfast each morning was excellent and we appreciated the kind, helpful staff which answered our questions about the area, transportation etc.
Inverardran was the first stop on our partial West Highland Way walk, so we didn't stay long, but the B&B was very lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with the porridge being the best we had our whole trip through Scotland! Inspired us to try to make it back home. Owner was very warm, helpful and lovely as well. We found out here that Highland water everywhere was going to be quite brown (but safe to drink), so that took a bit to adjust to.
Truly a great experience. Nice room, great little bar and restaurant, and wonderful super service. Perfect location in downtown Callander. A picture perfect small Scottish village with fantastic outdoor activities. In all fairness the bar was a bit noisy until around midnight and did effect our sleep on a Saturday night. Sunday night was not a problem at all. Breakfast was excellent with outstanding service. Hope to return to Callander soon and and to The Crags Hotel!
Sitting at the end of a seven mile long loch, this is one of the most beautiful settings you could ask for. The free breakfast offers the most variety of any I have experienced in the UK. Helpful friendly staff. You do have an extra seven miles to go to get anywhere, but the relaxing atmosphere is worth it.
