We stayed for two nights. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, we couldn’t fault them. The parking at the rear of the hotel was a bonus. The decor is dated and shabby, but overall our room was fairly clean, just dusty in the corners. The bathroom has been modernised, but the shower water was very slow to drain away. As others have mentioned the rooms are very noisy at night due to the outdoor bar area. The food was generally ok. Probably wouldn’t stay here again as it is overpriced for the standard of the hotel.

This the second time I’ve stayed at Dalgair House Hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay a third if I’m in the area again. My single room was spacious, bed comfy and the bathroom properly sized for an adult human being! The hot water for the shower was also genuinely hot, a sometimes overlooked basic!
