This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I appreciated the don’t trust your sat nav signs...
I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books.
The room, especially the bath and shower, were excellent. Breakfast was outstanding in a comfortable, well-lit room. Wifi was very good. Good car park.
Friendly, professional and caring management. Traveling with my handicapped father and the management team was compassionate and very supportive. A+++ experience. I recommend the hotel for those with handicapped family who wish to enjoy a respectful and caring experience.
Very simple room accommodations but met our needs for sleeping while using rooms within the restaurant/bar complex as base to travel to Welsh National Eisteddfod in Wrexham for three nights. Not convenient to pick up bus or not many taxi's on the road. Bar staff helpful.
The location is good, a 10-15 minute walk into Chester centre. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The upstairs bar is very nice with views across the racecourse and the Welsh Hills. The breakfast is a bit different with some nice continental options. Cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Chester
For this hotel to be classed as 3* is a bit of an injustice. We visited 2 other 3* hotels in Wrexham and they were filthy. Mould in the bathroom, on the carpets and around the showers was the constant theme; but not at the Ramada. The receptionist on duty Saturday and Sunday morning was exceptional. Positive, efficient and incredibly helpful. Definite Managerial material. Food was good and breakfast varied and plentiful. Cannot question anything about this hotel……except perhaps the lowly rating....
This is a great hotel and pub that is super clean yet very dog friendly. We were lucky enough to stay on a Sunday so had a great Sunday lunch and a wonderful breakfast the next morning.
The staff was the best part though. A great crew of people who clearly like what they do.
We hope to be back!
The Titanic Hotel should be a must if you are going to be staying in Liverpool. Besides the historic nature, it is an very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The staff are amazing, the room was spotless, and the food is wonderful. The bedding, for me, was perfect. I generally have trouble getting a good night sleep the first night in a hotel but this room was so comfortable I fell right asleep. The decor is the chief's kiss for any Titanic buff. Admittedly, I booked the stay due to this...
