Miyako is my one of favourite islands and all of the beaches are pristine and gorgeous! There are multiple bridges that connect to smaller islands so there is a lot to explore and many delicious eateries!

Excellent
Only thing i wish was improved in miyakojima is public transport but on such a remote island this is understandable. The place is absolutely stunning with some of the best beaches i have ever been and gorgeous water. You can see nemo fish and turtles

Good
Uncertain weather, very lovely location, shabby town centre, avoid eating local specialty beef unless you're a millionaire, stick to fish which is superb

"Good, comfortable room with nice view on small port and sea. Great sound insulation and comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location and access to cabs, bike rentals, restaurants. "
"1 min from the airport. Large, clean rooms and nice pool. Parking can be a little bit of a pain but they do have 24/7 shuttle to the offsite parking location - 5 min walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again."
"What a beautiful location and property! We loved staying here and wished we were able to stay longer.
Pros:
* The staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond for our family.
* The location is quiet and just beautiful.
* The breakfast buffet, pool, walkability to the beach and a washer/dryer in our room made this stand out.
Cons:
* Japan is a reservation focused country, we found. We found it a challenge to navigate some of this at this location. If you want to have lunch, for example, you need to make a reservation for the shuttle and a reservation for some of the dining locations - lunch is not provided at this hotel.
