"There isn’t much to do nearby, so it’s really a place to relax, enjoy the onsen, eat, sleep, read, and unwind. I highly recommend booking the half-board option since there are very few dining choices outside the hotel. We had a room with a private bath, which was wonderful. However, the bedroom was upstairs, and I didn’t feel very safe using the stairs at night. I wouldn’t recommend this type of room for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns. The food was excellent! The hotel seems to cater mainly to Japanese guests, so we used a translation app time to time. The property is a little dated, but it’s charming, cozy, and very clean. Two nights were just right for us. Overall, a lovely place to escape the busy world and enjoy some peace and quiet."
