"We are frequent visitors to Shamrock. This motel has a great location in relation to I-40. Free parking in a well lit parking lot. Good internet. Adequate breakfast. Helpful employees. On the dates of our stay, the yard was in need of a good mowing and the shrubs are in need of a major trimming. The outside area on the east end of the motel needs to be cleaned up with new dirt and new landscaping added. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but a thorough cleaning is needed. The upholstered chair needs to be replaced. The entire motel is in need of a remodel with new furniture. The pool and workout area is adequate. We had a small pet. We were charged $30 plus tax for EACH night of our two night stay. Most motels charge $25 per STAY for a pet. This policy will negatively influence our future stays at this motel."
