Great hotel right across from the train station. It was quiet and our room faced the mountains and we had a balcony which was great to spend time on. Room was clean and updated, it was a great stay.
We don’t normally do reviews but this place deserves one. Just a gem of a find. Great location, beautiful and comfortable (alpine but modern), and amazing food! (Both the complimentary breakfast and we had a delicious dinner.) and everyone was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations.

This property is highly recommended. Manuela, the proprietor is one of the nicest people you ever meet. She is more than helpful. I have traveled Europe by road on multiple occasions and try to make a point of staying at this wonderful location in property if you’re ever in the neighborhood, don’t miss it.
I would give Edelweiss 1000 stars if that were an option. I almost hesitate to write this for fear of spoiling what feels like such a precious, tucked away gem. Tom and the staff are so knowledgeable about area hiking options and how to avoid crowded tourist points; the chef’s bbq was the BEST pork I’ve ever had in my life, and they turned me on to the DELICIOUS elderflower laced hugo spritz. This place was great! Affordable and walking distance from everything. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was very nice and they have a restaurant where you can eat dinner as well.
Wonderful service, very nice restaurant (dinner and breakfast), slick design, nice spa and pool, friendly staff and amazing views (try to get rooms facing the valley, and not the street!). I don't normally spend so much on hotels, but this really was worth it.
