Lanson runs a great hotel. I have also stayed at Lanson in Shanghai. The best part about both is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The staff is great!
A long time ago, finer hotels would greet you and follow up with you and if one returned numerous times (like we have) they followed up with you and made sure you were taken care of. Edmund is a treasure in our opinion. I have stayed here 5 times in 3-4 months, and if I ever have any type of request, Edmund makes it happen. Other hotel employees may use the scripted "we will do our best and it is based on other factors, etc". Well, if I am flying from San Francisco to Hong Kong, I'm exhausted...
I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great area to stay in HK - room was priced right, hotel though small, is jam packed with extra features and freebies. The staff is superb. Room has nice design elements to make the most of a tight space.

Guy at the front desk was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our one night stay; the room was comfortable, AC was great and the bed was massive and super soft.
From our check in to check out the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and beds comfortable. We would recommend this Hotel to Hong Kong travellers as it is central to rail/ bus links and great shopping facilities
