San Ignacio is a very small town. Has a cute farmers market downtown, lots of street vendors. Is nothing fancy, really rural little town, but gret as you base to do your caves and pyramid tours.

So much to do in this area, stayed for 5 nights and could easily added in a couple more nights to get in more activities. Tikal and cave tubing were amazing!

It is a very nice town, close to many activities, lots of dining choices. Our only real challenge was navigating the streets because many are one-way and it was pretty confusing. A taxi would have been a better choice for us, I think. 😁

Enjoyed the nearby Mayan ruins and traditional chocolate making we went to see. Plus there were a few nice restaurants and bars nearby, shame we didn't have longer to stay.

"The view from my room was breathtaking. The receptionist on my first day of check in was very helpful. Just for the view, I would definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommend others to stay here if they are staying in San Ignacio.
My criticism would be the shower was a bit hard to use because the water was weak and that the pool was quite dirty. The water was murky.
The person on the day I checked out could have been a bit more courteous. After checking out, he just told me "you're all set". Something like "Thank you for staying with us. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us." would go a long way. "
"We LOVED staying at Sweet Songs. What a magical place with really friendly and attentive staff. Peaceful and clean and comfortable. And so many fun things to do on and around the property. Can’t wait to go back!"
"The property is beautifully maintained & perserved. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, & responsive. They supplied alot of opportunities for activities in the area & with discounts. We had our own car & was able to enjoy things outside of the hotel but they are able to fully accommodate those who did not have access."
