Learn more about Rockland
A mile-long granite walkway leads to Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, where waves crash dramatically against massive stone blocks. The Farnsworth Art Museum houses an impressive collection of Wyeth family works that capture Maine's rugged soul. During the Maine Lobster Festival, the harbor fills with boats while locals debate which waterfront shack serves the freshest catch. The once-shuttered Main Street now buzzes with galleries and boutiques housed in colorfully restored buildings. Catch a film at the historic Strand Theater before boarding a Maine State Ferry to explore the islands of Penobscot Bay. The Maine Lighthouse Museum offers fascinating maritime history, while summer brings the North Atlantic Blues Festival's soulful sounds echoing across the harbor.

Camden Riverhouse Hotel
"Very nice"
The Towne Motel
"The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and location was excellent for walking downtown."
The Inn at Ocean's Edge
"We very much enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. It was very relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Casey. It's very close to Camden and Rockport. The facility is getting a bit dated, but still a wonderful place to stay. Would return and highly recommend. Also, I had the best warm lobster roll at McLaughlins in Lincolnville."
The Country Inn at Camden Rockport
"Super friendly and accommodating staff. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (7 & 10). Such a great place. Would strongly recommend."
Glenmoor By the Sea
"Very clean cabins , nice views of the ocean, very responsive staff and breakfast delivered to the room each morning."
Harborline Hotel
"Great location! Close to the lobster fest and walkable"
250 Main Hotel
"A beautiful boutique hotel with spacious rooms and perfect locale for access to all downtown attractions. The lobby is beautiful and features regionally relevant antiques. The room we had was very clean, attractive, well-designed and comfortable. But the top feature of the hotel is literally situated at the of the hotel—the rooftop. The only regret is that there weren’t more hours in the day to spend up there looking at the harbor just across the street. A beautiful sight and much appreciated."
Glen Cove Inn & Suites
"We loved the setup. It's cozy and quiet and would definitely go back."
Rockland Talbot House
"The hosts had thought of everything. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with ample outlets and full temperature control. The location of the house was perfect and we were able to get to everything that we wanted to see. Very conveniently close to the ferry. We will definitely come back."
