Learn more about Auburn
Discover the legacy of Harriet Tubman at her National Historical Park, where freedom's footsteps still echo through carefully preserved grounds. The stately Seward House Museum reveals the home life of Lincoln's trusted Secretary of State with surprising intimacy. Owasco Lake offers a refreshing escape after touring the somber yet fascinating Auburn Correctional Facility, America's oldest continuously operating prison. The ornate Willard Memorial Chapel showcases the only complete and unaltered Tiffany chapel interior still in existence. 41 Lakefront Hotel, Trademark Collection By Wyndham
"The room was clean and so was the bathroom. What I found interesting was that the rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, unless you specifically ask for housekeeping. However, if you need extra towels or bathroom supplies, the ladies doing the cleaning are very helpful and provide whatever you need. The only negative was that the in-room safe didn't work because it was missing batteries. I thought it only needed 2 and got those from the front desk, but she did not have any others and so when I found out that it actually needed 4 batteries, I didn't bother to go back. It looked to me like a previous guest helped him/herself to some batteries they needed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The coffee supplies were adequate and if you wanted milk rather than powdered creamer, there was a coffee station in the lobby that had supplies. There was a large deck with tables and chairs facing the lake, which was quite nice. There was also a boardwalk that went from the Welcome Center down past the ice cream shop quite a ways. We didn't walk all the way, since we had just come to get some ice cream which, by the way, was delicious! Especially the Baileys and Kahlua ice cream. Yum! The wine slushies were delicious as well. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, because there were a number of very nice places in town. Overall, a very nice stay. Would stay again. Next time I might bring my dog, since almost everyone at the hotel appeared to have brought theirs!"

"Air conditioning"
Comfort Inn & Suites Syracuse-Carrier Circle
"Staff were friendly. They let us check in early and we didn’t get charged. Room was clean but one window was cracked and the hallway smelled of cannabis even though no smoking is allowed. Vending machine with snacks and drinks available and McDonalds is across the parking lot which is nice for those who like to eat there."

"We arrived at the hotel much later than we had planned, around 1:30 a.m. The desk clerk who checked us in was so welcoming, kind & helpful. He went above & beyond to make sure we got the most out of our short stay."
