Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown-Arena by IHG
"Probably the best located hotel for Old Sacramento. Access is via a large pedestrian underpass and take 3 minutes to walk there. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only problem was the breakfast with inedible scrambled eggs and crisp bacon. The fruit however was excellent"
Hyatt Place Sacramento International Airport
"The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. But two things marred this visit. First, only one elevator was working. Second, a male guest was complaining loudly about a "lost" credit card to any staff who would listen, disrupting my own check in. He also demanded to be on the elevator we were trying to use with our luggage. Once we were in our room, I felt safer and much more relaxed."

University Park Inn & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"The hotel was clean and the room we booked was very nice with a couch, mini fridge, and microwave. I liked the staff and the property in general. It is conveniently located next to downtown Davis and you can walk under the bridge for quick acess to restaurants. There was minor construction while we were there which was a small inconvenience for parking and the pool was out of service for our stay as well. The hotel is nice as it is, but if they finish the construction and maintain the pool for regular availability it would be even better. I had family stay here a week before me and the pool was over chlorinated so hopefully they figure this piece out. One last note is that they should offer nice earplugs for light sleepers, because the train is somewhat audible from anywhere in this area."

Kimpton Sawyer Hotel by IHG
"We had an absolutely amazing time at the Kimpton in Sacramento. The property is beautiful, the rooms are nice, and the location is perfect. But what really made our trip special was the staff—they were super friendly, exceptionally helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. We did have one issue: a light in our room flickered throughout the night. We let the front desk know about it in the morning just so they could fix it for the next guest, and they were incredibly receptive and appreciative of the feedback. Even with that hiccup, our stay was flawless. We will absolutely be staying at this property again!"
Lions Gate Hotel
"Safe and clean property. Friendly staff. Strong shower water pressure. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, biscuits, gravy and more."
