Learn more about Mount Dora
Antique hunters find paradise in this lakeside town where historic downtown seems preserved in amber. Lake Dora sparkles below streets lined with Victorian buildings housing galleries and boutiques that demand unhurried browsing. The freshwater lighthouse stands as an unexpected landmark, while vintage boat tours reveal why locals are so protective of their watery playground. Festival season transforms the lively streets into a celebration of everything from art to blueberries. The Mount Dora History Museum offers context for the town's quirky character, while the Museum of Speed surprises with its automotive treasures. Renninger's Antique Center requires strategic planning – the sprawling marketplace has swallowed many visitors for entire afternoons. Nearby Trimble Park offers peaceful lakeside trails when festival crowds become overwhelming.

Coco Key Hotel & Water Park Resort
"Our family stay was great. The water park on site is clean, and has areas for younger children as well as older children and adults. It doesnt open until 11am, however the other pool areas are open earlier and stay open later (waterpark closes at 7) The waterpark had lifeguards standing by the pool areas for the smallers kids, however I was surprised that there wasnt a lifeguard by the larger, outdoor pool area. That larger pool was open very late, as we went night swimming and my kids had tons of fun. The only thing I would keep in mind while booking is that due to the pool being open late, if youre planning on getting to bed around 8 or 9pm don't expect it to be quiet outside. You will hear kids laughing and having fun in the pool, so if that's not for you ask for a room not near the outdoor pool. Also, Im not a big fan of the gradual incline of the pool... it gradually gets deeper and for my child it was difficult to notice. Id rather a pool were one side is specific dept and the other side is deeper, possibly with a floating rope in between so that children realize when they're going in the deep end. Kids are having fun swimming and not looking at the liner of the pool to read the gradual increase in dept. For us, it was so convienient having to step out of our room and right to the pool area. Rooms were very clean!! I appreciate the abundance of towels that were left in the room and the hairdryers."

"The hotel was beautiful the roll was close to the traffic and the noise was annoying and the up level room was noise too. The pillow was too soft and my neck was stiff every morning. The bathroom was too small in tight to bath. The pool was amazing and bar off the pool drink was bad, my strawberry daiquiri tasted bad.. overall 6/10 star."
