Motel 6 Gilroy, CA
"Love being at the Motel 6 in Gilroy. It is one of the nicest and cleanest of the Motel 6 brands. I love this location. The only thing is that this Motel 6 charges a 150 deposit per room stay. That's something new. This was my second time staying there but I really like it. It is close to the Gilroy Transit Center. I stayed in the King bedroom this time. The microwave and refrigerator was super clean. I will be going back there."
Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley
"The location was very conveniently located, however the property was a bit dirty feeling. The hallways smelled musty/ mildewed and were a bit dark. My room smelled clean, but the carpet was covered with what looked like dog hair. The soap and shampoo smelled great and were convenient in the kind of bottles that are refillable, which I appreciate. Linens and pillows were very good. Another area that was a bit disappointing was the pool. There was only one towel which my friend and I had to share. There was garbage (which says more about the other guests than the hotel tbh) Overall, I’d probably stay again, however it was not as nice as I had expected given the price."

"Everything was amazing"
Seacliff Inn Aptos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"We have stayed there many times and we enjoy it every time. Didn’t go to the restaurant because it tends to have a long wait and no free breakfast is kinda a drag because it’s so busy in that area. But the pool and hot tub are really nice and it’s a nice facility. The rooms are nice enough with your usual coffee pot and small fridge. You get a little outside deck area with a couple chairs and a little table. We requested two rooms to be next to each other and they accommodated us. The price is REALLY good compared to most hotels in the area. We paid a little over $200 a night for each room. It was a Wednesday and Thursday so that might be why it was so cheap. Anyway, 10/10 recommend!!"
Best Western Plus Forest Park Inn
"Room clean, smell of potb permiated the property . Older place. Had to give them my ID to use the cart to transmit my luggage to the room and back to the car. Travel All over the US and beyond . Never had to do that before. The room was clean and spacious. Safe. Quiet and comfortable"
Hampton Inn & Suites Gilroy
"Clean and spacious room. Our room was close to the elevator, and the window was facing the truck stop but it was quiet; can't say we heard much noise during our night there. Amtrak ran outside but we only saw it once. My kids loved looking at the trucks and the train and the tv had cartoon channels for them. FYI - The bathroom uses a sliding door with no lock. Air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool. Free breakfast was mixed and fewer options compared to others. adults liked eggs with bell peppers, but kids didn't, bacon was dry but there were sausage patties. A variety of muffins and waffle mix, but none were really good - kids wouldn't eat them. There was fruit salad but no fresh, whole fruit except for oranges - no apples, bananas, etc. Would stay at again but open to looking at other places with breakfast (traveling with little kids who are picky eaters, I want them to get a good, quick breakfast/stuff that they'll eat so that we don't have to spend time going out)"
Marea Sol Hotel
"Great view of the beach from our balcony. All the food, fun and surf is just across the street"
Hotel Solares
"We were very happy with the staff and the condition of the room. Nice and close to the beach. Walked there in about 5 minutes. Best hotel we have stayed at considering the many times we have visited. The only negative thing about the hotel was no breakfast with my stay like most hotels."
