Seacliff Inn has a great location, highway access very close and it’s convenient to both Santa Cruz and Watsonville. Rooms were comfortable and well laid out. Grounds were nicely landscaped and perfect for lounging adults and playful children. Our breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Dinner too was tasty and staff couldn’t be any nicer. Seacliff beach is a short drive as are ice cream cones. For the season, I thought room rates were reasonable. Rooms provided peace for sleep.

We had a multiple bed room so 2 rooms with connecting door. Both rooms were clean, and comfortable. The security doors to the rooms are opened by your room key which other guests forgot so there was pounding on the doors at 11pm. The highway noise was annoying as our rooms faced the highway. The nightlight in the bathroom was so bright had to stack towels in order to block the light. The shower had virtually no water pressure so was unsure if shampoo was out of my hair. Beds were comfortable and balcony was nice. Didn't use the pool or hot tub or restaurant or bar, but nice amenities. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately there was an issue at check-in they sent us to a room that had not been cleaned. This was a huge error and room readiness issue that is not a Hilton standard. We weren't helped by management at the time no upgrades or anything. Also there is a parking fee. Overall it's a nice property with open spaces makes you feel like you have your own place and not a hotel room. However because of the room readiness issue i've never experienced anything like that!

Convenient and clean hotel close the beach and easy freeway access to everything else Santa Cruz has to offer. The staff was very friendly and patio at the restaurant was very peaceful. We have stayed there several times and find the freeway side buildings to be extremely noisy. The light coming through the door at night was a bit annoying and the daily charge for parking was a surprise and seems unnecessary. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Towels were not replenished the second day. We were given complimentary bottles of water when checking in, and that same water was $3 ($5 for Fiji water) in the room. . Why charge for water? Seems petty. Not our favorite place in the Santa Cruz area but we will probably stay there again due to the location.
