"Berkshires Untold is an old roadside motel that has been very spiffed up. The rooms are small but clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated and updated. Our bed was comfy with high end linens and a nice updated bathroom. The major drawback to the room is the very noisy HVAC unit.
There's a super cozy, attractive lounge area and a charming little restaurant and bar. The menu is small but the food is quite good and having an onsite restaurant is convenient.
The price we paid for a very off season Saturday night was excellent, but the rates really jack up during the summer Tanglewood season, far beyond what one would expect for a small motel room. The staff is friendly and professional, and dogs are welcome for an $85 fee.
All in all, this is a very nice and sometimes very affordable Berkshires option. "
"Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff accommodated a request to change rooms after check-in as we discovered there was someone next door who was constantly on the phone speaking loudly in a voice that carried on something business related. Relocating us was very appreciated."
"The hotel is very nice the lobby is nice for hang out with water tea and coffee, the rooms are new and modern and I loved the kitchenette it had all the amenities you need, the only downside is th rooms are very small like city hotel room small and there’s not enough light in the room not making it ideal to hang out in the room, other then that it was a nice pleasent stay."
"Great location. Within walking distance to MOCA, and a few restaurants that were open during our stay. The town is post industrial and post manufacturing. Walking around MOCA is a wonderful experience in itself as much of the history of the building and surrounding area comes alive and is fascinating. The exercise room is small. Not crowded. The pool was in use most of the time we were there as the pool is used for children's swimming lessons. We didn't want to use the hot tub with a bunch of kids and parents splashing around. Good staff and very responsive. "
"The facility is unfortunately only staffed 2-8pm daily. None of exterior doors lock at night.
Front desk staff was very helpful. The place was very clean and convenient to shops and restaurants."
