"The room looks recently renovated and was clean. This is a motel-style hotel (entering from the outside). Our room was facing the back (beach-side) so it was quiet, only the sound of the waves! We spent 6 nights there and it was secluded with a few places to eat nearby and great views on Old San Juan on the other side of the Bay. However, one absolutely needs a car and it was no problem parking at the hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Great customer service. Sometimes the check in process is slow if there are a lot of people checking in. The last two days of my stay the room was never cleaned. Breakfast was ok. The Elevetors kept braking."

"It is a gem inside the Island. Follow the driving directions given by the staff ahead of time for an easy and beautiful drive. Staff attention to the guest is outstanding way beyond the expectations. There is a hiking trail in the property, moderate for non hikers. As a wildlife biologist I enjoyed bird watching during the day and a night walk with UV lights. There would be plenty of Fluorescent items to enjoy, lichens, chlorophyll covered rocks, a few rocks with sphalerite (orange fluorescence) and an incredible blue fluorescent millipede migration from the ground to the tree canopy. If you enjoy wildlife, make sure to pack a uv flashlight (365 nm). There are several mindfulness related activities available upon request for additional fees. Food is excellent, with affordable wines and PR based beers. Each room have a small balcony with an hammock, from where I am writing this review, and it is so relaxing, that I am going to get a nap."
