This was the most amazing place! The Place left me speechless and breathless. It was beautiful, charming and very comfortable. I wish I had stayed my whole trip at this place!!!! Michael was a very gracious host and the food he prepared was delicious. I give this place 10 stars!!
Me and the wife enjoyed staying at this hotel and its proximity to the snorkeling beach. They had all kinds of boogey boards, paddle boards, snorkel and fins, beach towels, chairs and such for you to use at no extra fee. Washer and dryer on site. A vey nice place to BBQ if you like with all the seasonings and sauces provided for you to use. The room had cooking utensils and such to prepare meals. I would stay here again. The lady Gigi that runs the place was a pleasure to meet.
We could not have been more pleased with Aston Kona by the Sea. We had Unit 106 which was 2 bed and 2 bath. There was a sofa bed also (a little sloped but livable). The unit was completely perfect for our needs. First, we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our lanai. There were sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom. This was great because you could go out on the lanai from the master and not disturb someone sleeping on the sofa bed. The kitchen was updated and equipped...
The night life of the forest is incredible. The place was relatively easy to find and Sylvia helped me every step of the way. I loved everything about my stay. So grateful for the warmth and hospitality. Can’t wait to come back. The animals, oh my heart. Frank and the chickens and the goats. Uni and I named the other two Eric and Suzie. Mango Sunset is situated on a hill in a lovely coffee plantation. It’s 15 or 20 minutes from town. The sunsets are amazing and breakfast in the morning with French pressed coffee is delicious! Heidi (host) makes her own sourdough! She and husband Dan are naturals at hospitality.
Rebecca was an amazing host and extremely accommodating. Private room and bathroom very modern and kept extremely clean. If you enjoy local fruit smoothies, you'll love having breakfast out on the lanai which overlooks Captain Cook bay. Highly recommend Rebecca and her unreal B and B for a unique luxury local experience
Well, I found the King Kamehameha Courtyard by Marriott to be quite a decent spot for a stay, but it wasn’t without its rough edges. There by the beach, where one hopes for a bit of serenity, there were a few folks living rough, and it tugged at the mood I’d hoped to find. Beach is not good. Very small swimming area. Lots of rocks even there. Need reef walkers. Hapuna beach state park is about 15 miles north of this hotel. That is a great beach.

Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out.
Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone.
It was a decent stay. Would stay again. The bathroom shower needed some attention . Mold and mildewy on the plastic shower curtain liner. Other than that, it was older and a bit dated, but it was comfortable and clean for the most part.
