The hotel is new, located comfortably close to (driving distances) many local attractions. I am no stranger to hotels and this one is on top of my list! I am not a big fan of hotels. I'll always find a hair on the floor, mold around the tub or tear on the bed sheets or dust in the corner of a room. NOT in this one! Very nice bed sheets! Clean, no dust, no hair! The fridge was clean, the room was big. We arrived way early prior to check in and the staff managed to put us in 2 very clean...

Room and property was clean. Elevator was sketchy, but everything else I saw was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was good. Decent options plus biscuits and gravy. Construction made it super hard to find with GPS turning me around everywhere, but I decided to just take an exit that made sense and work my way back there on the service road. Would recommend the stay based on the value of the price.

Our stay at Deer Valley Lodge was one of the most comfortable stays we've had. We loved Cave of the Mounds so close by. The two 7 year olds we had absolutely loved the smaller scale water park. 3 slides, large pool, small pool, hot tub, life jackets, & lifeguards. The beds and bedding were perfect. The air conditioner was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great! Very clean place and very friendly staff. We booked again for July 4th weekend to take in House on the Rock.
