It was a one night stay so we chose this hotel for its location. We didn't realize that it was a fairly new hotel. Our room was very modern, pretty and clean. We had more towels than we needed! Loved the charging unit on the desk for phone charging. Loved the lounge chair. Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and accommodating, especially the breakfast attendant. We had a wonderful experience, loved this hotel.

love its new . A month and 1/2 old . breakfast was reasonable . i definitely will recommend this location . the site is near restaurants . Glad i found this hotel .

I have to say that I was extremely pleased with WoodSpring. I went in with low expectations since the room was only $50 a night. But everything worked out for me very well indeed. My elderly parents had recently moved into a small apartment in a senior living facility nearby, so there was no room for me to stay with them when I visited from out of state. WoodSpring was the solution. My room came with a full-size refrigerator, a sink, a two-burner stove and a microwave. Plus, a Meijer's...

Exterior is a bit rough but the rooms were clean and in great repair. No frills but considering price I think it's a great value. The staff I interacted with were all helpful and friendly. I'd certainly stay there again.

Excellent staff in the hotel. Wish there was a breakfast buffet--whether free or pay version. The cafe was very expensive and our friends waited 45 minutes to get a breakfast burrito. Another family loved the pool...it was a mini vacation for them!!

My absolute favorite place to stay during work trips. Safe, quiet. The staff is excellent... Especially the maids/breakfast ladies!!! So polite and lovely.

The hotel itself, is nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds/pillows were extremely comfortable! But, the wall outside our room obviously had water damage because the wallpaper was peeling up from the bottom. Our toaster didn't work and the bathroom sink stopper didn't work. Basic pandemic breakfast (Jimmy Dean sandwiches, cereal, bagels). Hotel just needed some maintenance updates. Otherwise, it was a good stay. Would recommend.

Comfortable beds & pillow, quiet, and great location! Pleasantly surprised by the fresh breakfast as well.

We chose this location as my mom was in a nearby hospital at the time I booked it. That and it was close to Buddy's Pizza and National Coney Island, which are two places we need to visit when we get to the Detroit area. The room and lobby were pleasing and very nice. I would book there again if the need comes up.

This was the perfect location for an extended stay during my daughter's hospitalization nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the large space of the room, and the amenities included. A full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and cups and dishes in the cabinet was more than I expected! Laundry and workout facilities were a bonus, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely look for Sonesta Simply Suites when I'm booking another long-term stay.

Me andown my husband went here for a 2 night getaway. It was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was very good, better than most free breakfast buffets at hotels. The pool was fun and was a good temperature. What sticks out most was the staff. The front desk gentleman, who I wish I remembered his name, was fantastic both at check in and check out. And all of the other staff we encountered we wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place to stay and head down to the river walk for a few drinks

This hotel was very accommodating. The staff was excellent and helpful. We enjoyed our rooms and that was it.

Place was very clean, free breakfast was plus, and a great price compared to the competition in the area.
