A lovely, quiet tucked away motel in a beautiful town. The room is comfortable and clean, there are only 8 rooms which is nice. Perfect for couples or families. We had a wonderful time at the very clean beach and enjoyed a stroll in the center of town on 96th Street. I was able to rent a beach chair provided by the hotel and a parking spot for each room is provided. So peaceful at night and really felt relaxed after the trip. Definitely will go back. The place is very clean, quiet, the staff are very attentive and helpful. I recommend it 100 percent to relax as a family or as a couple, we will return if God allows it.
I love this hotel it is nice and clean. I have nothing negative to say. The employees are respectful and kind. My room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We will be back again hopefully in September before the summer ends.
Have stayed here several times and never disappointed. A nice comfortable place to stay. The rooms do fill up quickly so always recommend reserving early.

I feel like we really lucked out with this stay. Planned only 2 weeks prior, we booked accommodations last minute and took a chance on Avondale. It was perfect! Right on Beach Ave. in Cape May, we had view of the ocean from our balcony area. Upon booking, I received a call within 30 minutes from Avondale to confirm our stay and to ask us if we were OK with with walking up the stairs to 2nd or 3rd floor as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and the 2nd floor facing the beach was perfect....
I loved this place, everything is really good, the view is incredible. One blond hair woman from reception and the activities guy who gives chairs and umbrellas on the beach they were really nice with us. The only person who was no good with me was woman (Black woman and short curly hair) I called before I make the reservation because I have my Service Dog for my Epilepsy, the person who answered the phone said I could bring my dog there; and that girl into the reception my last day there was so...

This is the 2nd time we have statyed at this property in the last 12 months and we love it. It’s one of a few places that has two queen beds so that’s always a plus for us. The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are roomy and feel very airy. We had a room with the balcony and used it for morning coffee. It’s also nice there is a microwave, mini fridge, plates, cups etc.
The location is not right in town but you are right across the st from the beach and they provide a free shuttle around...
Great hotel. Parking was a little tight, worried about door dings. Rooms were booked via third party, so first floor handicapped accomodations was not available as requested. We endured & survived. We were offered upgrades on both rooms at no additional cost, which I declined, and my daughter accepted. With the fireman's convention in town, I expected more commotion, but things were pretty quiet. Great site, close to several eateries, stores & main routing, making our trips to & from Cape May...
