"We thought we would be on the beach side but we were across the street....still very easy to get there....we didnt find the pool until time to leave, Noone explained that it was next door....however, we would definitely stay again, our room was clean and comfortable"

"So glad I found this place! Very convenient location, walkable to the market and you are on the beach. Theres a pool you can use during daytime hours. Everything you need is in the room. My suggestion is to pack some breakfast as there is no place walking distance to grab breakfast, other than 711. Would 100% recommend staying here!"

"First Colony Inn was the perfect spot for our long weekend. The location is perfect for access to the beach, restaurants, and the town of Manteo. Our room was suitable for our stay - no fancy frills, but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porches in the evenings!"
