This hotel has a Cape Cod feel to it. Located on the cliffs of Dana Point and overlooking the harbor and ocean. Great service by all the staff and all were super friendly. They offer a wine, cheese, crackers in the afternoon and a fabulous buffet breakfast as well. All Complimentary. It is small quaint and quiet. A real gem on the coast. We are definitely going back!
Beautiful location. A little busy though. There were two weddings and a huge baby shower the weekend we were there. We had a ground level suite with a patio and we felt like we were in a fishbowl because the events were right off of our patio. Most of the staff were phenomenal and exceptionally good at their jobs. A few of the staff were a little clueless and contradicted their exceptional colleagues. The food was really exceptional. Perhaps the best resort food I have ever experienced.

My wife and I made the short drive south from Huntington Beach to Laguna for a short staycation. We absolutely loved the Ranch. We did not feel like we were even in Orange County once on the property. It is a beautiful setting and the resort is awesome!

The location was perfect, the facilities were excellent, and everything—from the complimentary parking and delicious breakfast to the spotless rooms—exceeded expectations. The staff was great! The place was quiet and we had a great room. We would suggest that, due to the sand, a doormat outside of each room. And we needed to learn about no TV once we moved in and then checked the amenity fine print. Easy walk to the Main Beach for sand with two top notched eateries just a stone throw down the street - The Orange and The Taco Stand. We had a blast and will make our way around again - thanx for the wonderful hospitality Kyle - stay well
Five stars and the best facility in the Laguna area by far. Makes all the other hotels i.e. Montage, Ritz Carlton and Pelican seem like relics from 2000. The service has now caught its stride and its almost nearly as perfect as the Four Seasons Wailea or the Mayfair on Stratton in London.
