"Great location, right by the river. Plenty of parking. Quiet and serene. Just 5 minutes drive from downtown. Downside - amenities are limited. They had a renovation and decided to get rid of amenities like electric kettle, paintings on the walls, decorative pieces, etc. Apparently because many guests in the past stole away stuff. This is the story I got from the front desk when I asked about the bare bones nature of the place. Go for a functional and quiet experience!"

"Such a convenient location for a hotel would make one think it would be exclusively priced, but I found the accommodations to be reasonably priced. The location was extremely close to the excursion I had scheduled in La Crosse, and I was aware that it was positioned to be the hotel of choice for big events in the city. The premises were well updated and impeccably clean. I enjoyed the hot tub and observed many people making use of the heated pool. Although I traveled this time without my pets, I saw others with pets on the premises and would have appreciated having a dog-friendly hotel on a different circumstance. I would book a room here again."

"Room was nice. There was a comfortable chair for reading or watching TV, and a desk. Breakfast area had limited cereal choices, and no eggs or hot foods beyond waffles. Waffles were good. Coffee is good and available at all hours. There is plenty of parking. The location is good. The highway turns into one of the major city streets."

"The staff go above and beyond. Great customer service. The young gal at the front desk is very good and has excellent customer service. My only disappointment was there was no drinking water, unless you wanted to pay for it out of the machine. I truly believe I spent more than enough money for 2 nights of stay that I should not have had to pay for water."
