The Georgian Lakeside Resort
8/10 Good
"Family of four, two kids aged 5 and 3. The hotel for us was perfect as far as amenities, the pool was great and the kids enjoyed the beach area downstairs on the lake. Location wise it was perfect as well, located directly on Canada St and within walking distance to everything. Some negatives were the bar at the pool, a bit unorganized and the drinks weren’t great. The room could use an update, felt a bit dated but it was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again for future trips to Lake George. Highly recommended for those traveling with young children."

"There were some nice updates. I did have to ask for a hairdryer (there was none), and they don't supply paper towels. Depe Dene is a great resort; They offer rentals for paddle boards, kayaks, & boats. We rented paddle boards and enjoyed the beach. We had a Lake view, which was perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. We will definitely be back!"

"Our stay here overall was very nice. The front desk staff was helpful, but they were overwhelmed with check-ins, check-outs as well as giving and taking pool towels and providing smore supplies. They needed a concierge to help out but that desk was always empty. The lake is a pretty far walk from the hotel."

Surfside On The Lake

"We had a great stay at Surfside. It was close to walk into the village. The water sports were fun, they have pedal boats, paddle boats and kayaks to use. I was disappointed there was a mandatory $50 additional fee for them that should be included in the reservation rate. The private beach was great other than it wasn't picked up, there was garbage around and people left their belongings scattered and nobody fixed the chairs after it closed so when we arrived in the morning it wasn't "ready" for guests as you would redirect. The food in both resistant was great and prices were reasonable. Overall it was a great stay and we enjoyed it."
