We had a wonderful stay at the Brandon Inn. We stayed on the 4th floor and actually did not mind taking the stairs - we only used the historic elevator once when we arrived with our luggage. This is a beautiful old Inn and the owners continue to work to preserve the character and restore the elegance. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a vintage ironclaw bathtub with shower hook-up that worked well.

This inn dates from the 1700s! During breakfast the owner served fresh-baked croissants. The restaurant fare was tasty and very reasonably-priced. Friday and Saturday nights features free live piano in the ballroom.

The Brandon Inn was lovely- clean, comfortable and the staff were all amazingly helpful, cheerful and fun. To note, I have severe fragrance allergies but there were no scents or perfumes added to the linens or the rooms- I was so grateful! The only "issue" was the severe lack of water pressure and tepid temperature "hot' water in my 3rd floor suite. It was disappointing. They referred me to 22Park Eatery (next door) for dinner since their dining room was closed due to a private wedding (I didn't know that in advance) - and it was an excellent referral! So grateful. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

The staff was very nice, however the room left much to be desired. 1. No shades on windows in room or bathroom that faced the front of the Inn 2. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable 3. Shower water was tepid - no hot water 4. The air from the air conditioner blew directly onto the bed 5. The music from karaoke could be heard in the room, including pounding bass, until 9:30 We were quite disappointed.

The attention to the lodging and building is astounding. Charming. They are also now serving what appears to be a lovely dinner. The beds are a bit too firm-not quite luxurious enough to warrant High End feel...there is a need to re-visit updates in shower heads--Nice rainfall one-but some stability issues! I Love this place--and the peaceful pool! They took away some of the courtyard seating--or just moved it around? The patio needs a bit of love for those beautiful planters!! But it is a wonderful place!!!
