Learn more about Pescadero
Tide pools teem with starfish and anemones at Pescadero State Beach, where the Pacific crashes dramatically against weathered cliffs. Nearby, Harley Farms offers tours where goats demand head scratches before you sample their award-winning cheese. Duarte's Tavern serves legendary artichoke soup and olallieberry pie in a building that's witnessed a century of local gossip. Bean Hollow's smooth stones beg to be pocketed (but shouldn't be), while Pigeon Point Lighthouse stands sentinel over shipwreck sites. Butano State Park hides redwood groves where coastal fog creates an almost mystical atmosphere. This tiny town of 600 souls somehow maintains its agricultural character despite being just a short drive from Silicon Valley's relentless innovation.

Hotel Paradox, Autograph Collection
"I stayed solo 6 nights to visit friends nearby so very convenient. The staff could not have been friendlier and made the stay very comfortable. The Solaire food was most excellent. The staff get an A++ and are a real asset. The carts by housekeeping make alot of noise on the concrete walkways making napping impossible during the day. Avoid a room by the stair as people run up and down and noise radiates through the walls. The rooms were very quiet for the most part as they are soundproofed. That is kind of rare. The pool area looked very inviting but for the fact there were alot of families on vacation. The public spaces were inviting to use and tastefully decorated in various themes. I didn't learn the building history but Marriot did a great job converting an old hotel into something more resort-like."

"So good everything"

"Clean room and pool. Enjoyed"
Casablanca On The Beach
"Don’t expect anything beyond great location. It states breakfast is included on hotels.com, but that is not included. Lots of stairs, so if needing accommodations contact them beforehand. The walls are paper thin, so we tried to be as mindful and considerate as possible. We loved our stay but based on other reviews our expectations were that of a bare bones Airbnb and not a hotel, and that was pretty spot on. If you set your expectations low, you will love your stay here."
Ocean Pacific Lodge
"The rooms were nice but had a funky smell that just didn’t go away."
The Domain Hotel
"There is a nice breakfast, pool, exercise room, nice happy hour. Beds are comfortable and pillows big and fluffy."
Wild Palms, a JdV by Hyatt Hotel
"Our room was nice. The staff was great! Parking lot didn’t seem too have too much extra space. Breakfast was good!"
Motel 6 Belmont, CA - San Francisco - Redwood City
"the checkin process is great if you’re lucky enough to check in with a actual real life in person living and breathing in the lobby. if you’re not lucky you’ll have to checkin with a virtual zoom type tv camera thing with glitches hearing and microphone problems."
Half Moon Bay Lodge
"A very nice place to stay. The room was clean as well as the premises. One of the best free continental breakfast we’ve had. The walk to the beach takes 15 mins. Once on the coast, walk on the beach and to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. We drove into town and had dinner at Nano’s Ohana Cafe (in the back patio), mixed plate is the best! Strolling Main St after eating was nice, lots of shopping."
