"The front desk personnel were really good, but the housekeeping service was a disappointment. The room was quite spacious and fairly nice, but it lack at least the basic amenities. No simple complimentary lotion, assorted teas, etc. I think this part reflects on the housekeeping service. The plus side of the hotel is the front desk personnel. They were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The hotel should review their housekeeping services. One area of deficiency should not affect the overall performance of the company (Hyatt Place hotel)."

"What a great oasis on the Santa Ynez valley; wonderful up to date well maintained grand old hotel. Luxury room, plenty of room to chill after a day out and about and we enjoyed early morning hot tub (before it’s hotter outside than in the tub!) and lovely breakfast service. Wonderful choice."
