The staff was so helpful. Everyone we needed something, such as towels, garbage bags, toilet paper and so on. They were always accommodating. I noticed that they were a little light staffed. I work in retail/ customer service so I noticed things that others may not. Even with juggling a lot of work the staff was all so polite. Booking was easy. Arrival was smooth, even on a busy, rainy, local college graduation (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) weekend . The new front desk manager had to untangle our multiple source reservation & handled it well, making us feel rightfully not responsible for the mix up. Appreciated her & her colleague’s kindness.

We stayed there one night to visit RPI. Very nice hotel. Clean and new. Free Wifi and television has many more channels than other sites with access to Netflix, etc. We had a suite which had a king bed, a full kitchen with dishes/utensils. I traveled with my boyfriend and our 4 year old. The property was very clean. Breakfast staff were the only ones I came in direct contact with since I did online check-in. The woman in the breakfast area was very nice and helpful. The room was perfect. I only wish the bottle water for members was left in the room prior to check-in. I never received mine.
Very clean room the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was pretty decent. The only issue we had was parking that didn’t seem to be enough spots for the hotel when we came back from a concert at Tanglewood. Every spot at the hotel was taken. Luckily somebody left otherwise the place was great.
Everything there was great except Christiansens taver. The service was ok but the food was terrible. I would not recommend this place for dining. I would go to McDonalds before I ate there again. We do however recommend Powder Hounds Tavern at the entrance, The service and the food were excellent and affordable.
We stayed here for one overnight while visiting the area. The hotel was just what we were looking for - affordable, clean, great location. There is a restaurant right next door and an apple picking orchard across the street. Easy 5-10 minute drive to a few other restaurants and about 30 minutes from Manchester with great shopping and hiking. The free breakfast in the morning was also great. I would recommend it!
