"Has a lot of interesting history and has had some upgrades. Breakfast was very good and it is well located."

"Breakfast was the only decent thing they had. Room was dirty with other peoples body hair left in bathroom and sink area. Noisy area right next to a gas station. Check person at the register was the rudest I have ever come across. To the point I asked for a refund just because of his attitude. Would not stay here again!"

"A gem of a motel in Canon City! The decor was so nice, and the mattress was very comfortable. They had a nice Continental breakfast reminiscent of Europe! The coffee was quite good...not typically the case at most motels/hotels. We brought our bikes, and this motel is very close to the bike trails that we rode and the main street with numerous shops and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and nice. Overall, very impressed and will return! "

"Make sure to ask if they have fixed their plumbing issues before booking. Almost my entire stay there was no running water. Front desk stated it was cause they had never been completely booked before and to wait and hopefully it would return. Eventually the smallest trickle of water was available so toilets were able to be flushed, however not enough water or pressure to take a halfway decent shower. I travel a lot and this was not my first or second choice of accommodations but because the property is fairly new I took a chance. Breakfast to go was weak but honestly wasn’t expecting much. The only positive experience was Conner at the front desk. Excellent customer service. "

"The overall condition of this hotel is awful. At the front door there are mouse traps out, the cleanliness of the facility is poor. The safety lock on my door was broken and instead of replacing it they had screwed it into the door, well the screws are about to fall out. They could be removed with your fingers. The wallpaper is peeling, on and on. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. "
