Nomahegan Park
Learn more about Cranford
Wander through a downtown where shopkeepers still know customers by name, and the Rahway River provides a scenic backdrop for morning coffee. Nomahegan Park offers a perfect escape with its serene lake and winding trails that seem designed for contemplation rather than cardio. The historic train station serves as both practical transit hub and architectural reminder of more gracious times. Union County's rural character somehow survives here, just 18 miles from Manhattan's skyscrapers. The Crane family's 1720 mill may be history, but their legacy lives on in this township where small-town rhythms persist despite the proximity to New York. Locals debate which park bench offers the optimal view before heading to family-owned eateries that have survived chain restaurant invasions.

New York Marriott Marquis
"Fantastic staff. Loved the elevator setup. We are not picky where we sleep so the “fancy” doesnt bother us. Had a partial view of times square. It was pretty neat."
NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
"Small rooms as expected, shower dripped and AC would keep shutting off, but great for location and reasonably priced."
Hotel St. James
"Kind staff. Good place to sleep."
Hotel Edison Times Square
"Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room. We will be back!"
Hard Rock Hotel New York - Partner of ALL Accor

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
"Long check in process. Line went out the door. Stood in line for over an hour. Very Convienent location, close to everything and subway located across the street. Cleanliness was 6/10. Room could have been cleaned better (fingerprints on windows/ dirty fake eye lash strips in bathroom and bottom of bedskirt was brown (sheets were white)). Not terrible overall for a one night stay in Times Square. The staff in the lobby were very nice and accommodating."
Arlo Midtown
"Close to every thing in nyc."
Night Hotel Broadway
"I felt very safe in the neighborhood. It’s around the corner from Popeyes and Duane Reed drug store. Everything is close by including the train a liquor store and McDonalds. The hotel provides room extras like bottled water, coffee, toothpaste, plastic hair shower covers, a razor, and mouthwash all restocked daily. Most hotels don’t provide these items anymore. The elevators are a bit dark and could use brighter lighting. The hotel is very old but maintained as well as can be expected. The sink had a plumbing problem which was fixed by maintenance within 5 min of me informing the front desk. We stayed on the 12th floor which had a slight odor of weed but it didn’t impact our room. If you are looking for an all new, brightly lit, 4 star hotel, this is not it. However, if you don’t stay in the room much and want something clean and economical, this is your hotel!!"
DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown
"We love the location of this hotel. It’s super clean. The staff are so friendly."
