This was my second time staying at POD 51! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! The staff is amazing, the location is wonderful, and affordable parking is available just one block up next to a Police station and Fire Station. The room was cozy and quiet. It was the perfect location for most of the activities we had planned. This is my hotel of choice when in NYC! Will definitely be back!

One hour and twenty minute wait for reserved room to be ready. Windows very hard to open, required building engineer to open. Hallway carpet not clean. Room was more spacious than expected and clean. Good location.

The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. The showers are not in the room but superior to what I have seen in premium hotels. It's a great value in a great neighborhood. Dozens of great restaurants within a 3 block walk.

I took a room with a bathroom. It was tiny, but modern and clean. However the noise was remarkable. People who do not have bathrooms use the communal bathrooms all night, with plenty and door banging going on. My room was on the second floor facing 51st and a French restaurant right there. Super loud all night. Either the people in the hotel or the traffic outside it. I even had a nightmare that someone was in my room, that’s how close the voices sounded. Good value though. And less bad noises on the second night.
