Hotels in Wailuku

This was the best vacation ever. My wife and i actually went to Maui to get married. The room was amazing. Staff was great.... (shout-out to KK) for recommendations on places to go and eat. We will definitely be back next year for our 1 year anniversary!

It was a great experience!

Fantastic resort. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool and beach. Rooms were great. Didn’t leverage restaurants as reviews were not stellar and far overpriced ($50 for a bowl of pasta?). Only negative is they felt understaffed. For example quick breakfast place to grab coffee, sandwich, etc was always busy with 10 people in line and took 30 mins. Poor staff their tried there best and super nice, but they needed more help as that’s a silly wait for coffee

The cutest hotel in the perfect location on Maui! Close to lots of local cafes and restaurants, and the beach was maybe a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was super cute and tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Maui!

The only thing I didn’t like was the rooster who started at about 2:30 a.m. and went on through after sunrise!

The best family rental ever. For the price compared to all the other resorts you get the most bang for your buck: location, FULL KITCHEN, laundry, guest services, beach access, shopping, and the most beautiful ocean with snorkeling magic galore. We saw sharks turtles and fish by Black Rock. It was amazing. Our daughter loved her first trip to Hawaii. We will definitely be back to west Maui and highly recommend the Whaler.

We arrived and was very impress with the hotel to include staff at the Buffet breakfast place, concierge, Valet, and housekeeping. GOOD JOB !!! Everyone was at par and professional. The disappointing part was attending the Time Share presentation. The Presenter was very friendly and professional until we met the"TO" staff who gave us some options to buy in a Westin Time Share program. Three of us stayed in one bedroom, large clean room with 2 bathrooms perfect for 3 people. Enjoyed the stay!

We stayed in the island view room which had a kitchenette, sitting room, king size bed, jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, and balcony. We were overlooking the pool area with a view of the ocean. Very happy with the room and the view. This hotel is great for families, we don't have kids but we enjoyed it just the same.

It’s walking distance to the beach.

For the price I thought this place was excellent. The kitchen was a surprise and having a cheap wife, came in handy. Also, the condo had chairs, ice chests, umbrellas and other beach amenities that really came in handy. Such a great stay

Maui Seaside hotel is very clean they take great care of their landscaping. They have a great view and is close to the shops. Staff is friendly and they even have an airport shuttle for free.

The hotel location was very convenient for our stay and easy access to all what you need - restaurants and groceries. Walking distance to Costco if you're its member and taking advantage of it, especially its gas price was much cheaper to the others when you have rental car like me. The hotel is very close to the airport, but I didn't feel much noise bothering my sleep there. Hotel parking is $10 per night for my stay. I like the outdoor pool which is near to beach also. Nice and picturisque environment

Maui Coast Hotel was an ideal base in Kihei! It was centrally located right across the street from Kamaole I Beach, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend staying anywhere in Kihei without a car, there were definitely places to eat and hang in walkable distance in both directions, and the hotel also offered a complementary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius.
