"My wife and I have just returned from a one-week stay at TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao, and I can say without any doubt that it was the best resort holiday we've ever experienced. From the advance transfer planning from Krabi airport to the marina, then across to the resort by boat, to settling into our beachfront villa, to every experience we enjoyed over the course of the week, the TreeHouse Villas team handled every part of our stay with 5-star service and care. Throughout our week, we often reflected on the calmness of each day and how a single day felt like it was slowing down time. Welcomed by the beautiful setting of the resort on Koh Yao Noi Island, you very easily settle into a tropical, peaceful part of the world and call it home for your stay. The guest villas are beyond belief in design, comfort, and experience. Everything you could need and more is carefully designed into them, with so many added comforts that they are too many to list. The management team and staff are truly the secret sauce that brings the whole luxury resort experience together. They represent the true spirit of the resort, and you can enjoy your stay knowing such a kind, caring, and accommodating team is there to make it everything you expect, and more. A heartfelt thank you to Urs, Alex, Benoit, Farn, Pan, Nah, Joy, Zhen, and the entire TreeHouse Villas team. We will not soon forget our stay with you, and we certainly look forward to planning a return visit."

"I had a sea view room and the view was spectacular. The room was fantastic with a large balcony. Breakfast had a good selection. I ate a few times in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was excellent. They also have a coffee shop with a selection of drinks and cakes. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The complimentary island tour was a good way to get a first introduction to the island. There is a motorcycle rental hut just by the hotel."

Lost Horizon Resort - Khao Sok

"What an unforgettable stay. It was our first time in the Surat Thani province and this being our first stop, certainly didn't disappoint. We utilized the resort sending a Van from the airport, but arranged a ride in advance on our own from the resort back to Surat Thani (doable via the many transport apps). The resort is new, opened within the year (2026). And they are still doing finishing touches to the grounds. We leaned into the "experiences" staff to help coordinate some outings. The staff were awesome in ensuring we had everything we might need, dry bag, rain poncho, etc. We did the bamboo rafting to a cave with a guide, and had a choice of tea or coffee made on open fire. (saw a bunch of monkeys and elephant trails). We also did the group Cheow Lan Lake tour with hike to a cave (they are shared between resorts). I would rate the first as a 9/10 experience, the second 7/10. The lake is beautiful, however, the on-lake restaurant and resort on the scheduled experience has seen better days and it's a f-u-l-l day, no budge in scheduling. We also had scheduled a few in-room massages, top notch service. The restaurant and staff, especially Penh(Ben), were always smiling and remembered our preferences. The food was always cooked fresh and full of flavor. We would definitely stay here in the future, no questions. A great place in the jungle to disconnect with beautiful limestone mountains surrounding it, located along the Sok river."

"Considering you’re out in the jungle basically, the rooms are very well maintained and also air conditioned. The staff is very eager to assist and always on hand. Be prepared to arrive with cash because it seems like the credit card reader is not always available and that can be an issue. This is also a remote property so bear in mind you will only have limited access to all amenities during daylight hours. But the staff is lovely and will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can, just have your expectations in line with the location. That being said there is transport available to all the local attractions, and it’s a truly lovely and one of a kind experience that I am sure you will cherish, as I did :)"

"A very noisy family above us, l would of thought the night staff would of sorted them out, when my partner went to speak to the night staff she was told that they paid a lot off money for their room,so basically they could do as they please. She complained again at 2am and was told that we could move to another room Not that we wanted to move that time of the morning"

"Overall an excellent stay with great helpful staff, great food, and an amazing view! Navigating the incline to the pool is worth it after a long day, but might be challenging for some folk. A little ways away from the main strip with all the bars and easy access to the park, but absolutely worth it for the peace and quiet."
