"This hotel is probably the best I’ve stayed at. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room. They also have a restaurant with entertainment. We were there on probably the last hot day in October (85 degrees). They had a poolside bar as well. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this one here was by far the best. We paid a decent price being as though the seasons changed. I’m hoping to be able to book something this summer. Definitely 5 stars from me."

"I stayed here as a child with my parents on family vacation 25 years ago. Now it’s just me and my mother and we’ve come back this year to honor my father as he’s gone over a year now. We love the beachfront property with the sounds of the waves. That alone makes this hotel the best. The staff is kind and friendly. The rooms were big enough to fulfill our needs for the couple of nights. I will come back to the Sands every year I possibly can."

"Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in October during off season. The hotel still had an open heated pool and a driver/shuttle to bring you to and from the hotel and areas around town. John was a great driver who was very knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations. Though they offer the shuttle service, main parts of town are very close to the hotel and could even be walked to. They let us check in early which was a great bonus. Harry’s bar and grill is located on the same property and has great food, drinks and friendly service. They also had their annual boo bar going which is always fun. The hotel faces the beach and provides great views and a short walk onto the beach. Would stay here again."
