"Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Very nice employees. Not downtown but there is a FREE city bus every hour on the hour that stops across the street from hotel, (TART). No need for a car.
Nice 3 block walk to Donner lake Museum, and 1.5 miles walk to Lake Donner. So beautiful."

"This motel was in a very beautiful area overlooking the lake. The room had a small kitchenette with dishes included. Don't let it's vintage appearance fool you, it was very comfortable and warm. The walls are thin so if you get noisy neighbors it would probably not be as serene but we had very quiet neighbors. The check-in and out was a breeze. We had a very nice time and will definitely stay here again. The rooms could have used a bit more cleaning but it wasn't filthy. Thank you for having us!"
