Essentially there were zero amenities but that seems to be primarily due to the historic nature of the building. Property was a spotless and quaintly beautiful, exceptional staff.
We just loved this hotel. It's been lovingly restored, with great attention to detail, and the owners are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was a treat, too. I just wish we'd had a longer stay and more time to enjoy the cozy lounge areas. We hope to come back soon.
From check in to check out everything about this hotel was outstanding! The room was clean and had a great seafront view with balcony. A tremendous breakfast buffet. I have traveled the world and stayed in the top hotels, I would put Gran Hotel Sol y Mar n my top 5!

All the staff - from people at the reception to the guy overseeing the breakfast - were so nice, welcoming, and went the extra mile to give us useful recommendations and arrange a taxi for our hike. It definitely added to the overall vibe and made our stay that much more special. The rooms were also quite large and very clean. I’d definitely recommend Hotel Rosa to a friend and will be sure to stay there again if I come back to Denia!
We were impressed by the wonderful organisation in the restaurant, despite the large number of guests. The waiters and helpers seemed to really love their work.

Stayed in the hotel in June 09 with wife and a kid. This hotel, as well as most of the town caters primarily to very adult crowd, which came as a bit of a surprise. The hotel is a solid 3 star, simple, but clean room, good location close to the beach. The bed, like in many other hotels was made out of two smaller beds that slide apart. Absolutely great location on a ridge with wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains. The hotel is located on the east end of Benidorm which was exactly what we wanted; walking distance to two outstanding beaches and many taste restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is just about everyone at and near the hotel spoke English! However, I practiced my chopped up Spanish anyway:)
