What a beautiful renovation and serene environment. These are basic rooms and not luxurious. No A/C, but the rooms are clean with modern bathrooms. The property has a lovely central square that the hotel rooms surround, that is peaceful and charming. Gorgeous biblical art and grand arches can be seen throughout the common spaces, and act as a reminder that this building was originally a convent from the mid 1600s. We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary.

Staff were excellent at check-in and throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant is also very nice, although being in Spain, it did not open for dinner until 9pm. In the bar, drinks and tapas were available in the afternoon. Huge wine selection. Parking was onsite and free. The only negative was that the toilet in our room continued to run water (sometimes, not always). Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
This is a great location and very welcoming staff. Greatly would recommend for anyone visiting La Rioja - active evening food and drink options, parking in the center is difficult, but if you can do stairs well there is an ample parking lot nearby at the foot of the town. Exceptional.
