The Yeatman is on the other side of the river so walking is further into town however they have lovely restaurants if you can’t be bothered ."

*To be fair. This is my personal opinion. I would stay here again without a second thought. There are nearby options if not interested in B&B breakfast. Overall hotel is very good. Rooms are basic, but clean and have everything that I need. Excellent value.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff is friendly, the hotel is brand new, the river view is amazing, great parking, easy access, safe area, buffet breakfasts are incredible, dinner on the pier is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. We will be back.
Rooms were nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was available. Not too far from historic downtown and the river, just a short taxi drive. Only issue we had was the fact that you had to drive out to find restaurants, we did not try to walk because it seemed complicated. There is a shopping mall a few minutes away with an excellent food court.
We like this hotel. It's located outside of the super busy and congested areas of old town, but it's still accessible by Metro (the station is across the street) or a cheap BOLT ride. The streets are FLAT! It's a 20 minute walk to old town with interesting architecture and shops along the way.
We got upgraded to a bigger room with a king bed and patio (on ground floor, balconies on upper floors). There's that gray wall that others have complained about, but there are nice shrubs in front of the...

This is a delightful, boutique-like hotel in a neighborhood - about 20 minutes to the center of things...30 minutes to the train station & and harbor.
The staff is helpful an pleasant. Check-in & out were effortless. My room was impeccably clean. Seems to be a solo or couple sort of accommodation...don't imagine it would interest families much. Didn't have breakfast but someone made me delicious coffee each morning! Uber costs less than 5E everywhere.... Porto is wonderful. Stay here when...

The staff was exceptionally nice, perfect location. Everything in Porto was a 10-15 minute walk. Quiet at night in our room. The shower has amazing water pressure. Will be back when in Porto.
The hotel is very nice and in the center of everything, about a block away from the river. The room was spacious (3 adults) and the bathroom was modern and clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast but it is available from 7:30am-10:30am for 15€ per person.
Would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.
We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and available, we were greeted with refreshments on arrival and personally walked to our rooms. Great amenities including free access to the steam room located in the spa, a great breakfast with options for all, and a welcome gift of port waiting for us in the room. The room was spacious, with a small kitchenette and a seated living space separate from the bedroom. It’s not a far walk from the central areas of Porto, with easy access to nice places...
