We were there for a wedding venue. Hotel is lovely although I would not say it’s particularly kid friendly. The beach is very small. Our room was beautiful. The food was quite good. We made a suggestion that they have a ideal list for people who want to spend two or three hours away from the hotel or the region for things to do
We were graded when we arrived and all the amenities were explained the hostess walked us to us our room and showed us all the features of the room. The room was clean pretty and the air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was marvelous, and staff was very responsive.
Location was right by the train station, which was great as well as by the lake even better.
The hotel provided what we needed! A comfortable and clean room and close to many good places. There is also a cafe/restaurant downstairs which opens until late and their staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was also helpful just by one phone call away. Self check-in/check-out were smooth and easy. We really enjoyed the stay!
This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. We received a warm welcome with excellent staff who remained that way for our all too short stay. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The manager recommended a restaurant which was excellent. The breakfast was very good

Communication with the hotel even before arrival was good and clear. At the property they were pleasent and clear abkut everything. The room had a great view, was clean, spacious enough for our luggage and nicely designed. Great central location.
We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.
To start , some of us can't leave without Ac , this property not only has one but one that works , ( those of you who travel through the old world understand). Service is exceptional, and property is not a resort size but big enough. Great for families and couples as well, available bikes for all ages, pool ( small but warm) gym, indoor pool, on site dining option , and again service excellent.
My stay in this location was perfect. The hosts are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast is served in the morning and with lots of care. The house is incredibly clean and there’s specific parking for each guest. I highly recommend this location. Thank you for all of your friendship.

Was easy to take a train to the Locarno city center in under 15 minutes. Transportation is included with the Ticino pass so request it from the front desk. Recommend this property.
