Would definitely return to and recommend the Meridiana Country Hotel. Loris Frascarelli and his staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us during our stay. Upon our arrival, Loris gave us a choice of rooms; we obviously took the one with the better view. The Meridiana is quaint, accommodating, clean, in a beautiful location and close to a fantastic local restaurant they recommended just down the road (Gennaro); you could actually walk there.

Amazing in every way. The beauty of waking around is unlike any other. When we got there after a long day of traveling we had just missed the lunchtime to eat, and when went to shower the handle broke off- this is not a complaint. First they extended lunch without being asked and fixed the shower within minutes. From there on everything was amazing. This boutique hotel was absolutely wonderful! Amazing location, cold AC, incredibly comfy beds, huge and modern bathroom, free breakfast and appertivo, and a convenient spa. We truly enjoyed our stay here! The best part was the attentive staff who reached out before our stay and helped us throughout- giving restaurant recommendations as well as booking reservations and tours for us. Special shout out to Adriano and Olga, two amazing staff members who assisted us during our trip.

Horrible! Do not go there! Because if you stay there once, your standards will rise and you will have hard time comparing other hotels to this one which exceeded all standards. Do not get fooled by its 3-star status, as the rooms, deco and services would definitely compete with at least a 4-star counterpart. Located at the center of Florence with walking distance to the main train station and lots of venues and museums, the hotel is a true gem. The breakfast buffet is in an elegant setting and...

The best thing about Hotel Rapallo is EVERYTHING. To start with the location is most convenient, about 10 mins from main train station and about 10 to 15 walk to all the attractions and restaurants. We were greeted at the reception by a lovely lady Regina, she was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our check in was an absolute breeze. Regina also provided us with the map and to our surprise was also able to get us the booking for Academia Museum for the next day...in a nut shell...most amazing...

On Sunday 28 Sept, 2014, I arrived with my family at the Rosso Hotel, Firenze. When the Hotel Rep (Phillipo) asked for my hotel reservation and Passport, I realized that all my money and Passport was stolen from my purse. It happened apparently before I left Venice, at the St. Lucia train station when I departed to Firenze. I felt so miserable, but the hotel Rep was so understanding and polite. He accepted the only ID I had. He apologized on behalf of his country, and provided me directions...

The hotel is well located but not in a trendy area. Our room was basic but very clean and the bed was comfy. Lots of steep stairs and too many floor level changes - like from bedroom to bathroom. The shower was very slippery so I wouldn’t get in it after being over served! Not ideal for seniors but we managed OK. The staff was lovely and helpful. If you want a good value, great AC and location give it a try.
