I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!
A truly wonderful stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The location was excellent, set within a wonderful winery setting that made the experience even more memorable. Being a working, family-owned winery gave the property a unique charm and authentic atmosphere. The accommodation itself was fabulous — comfortable, stylish, and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended and would gladly return.
What an amazing experience!!! The property was beautiful. Imagine sitting on a lawn chair with donkeys grazing next to you. The owners were lovely. It’s a little off the beaten path and they even offered to drive us into town if we wanted to have dinner, but we suggest stopping at a market and picking up stuff to eat there as they have a kitchen and it’s so beautiful. He will want to enjoy the property.

Note they are creasing this lovely eco farm so some areas are a work in progress. The owner is so special. Ask her about what she led in Porto before she and her family began creating their dream Ecopeneda. - impressive was in Porto their Big nature gardens …

The hotel is located at the summit of Monte Santa Luzia and offers a commanding view of the basilica standing just below it. The facility is great and servies are sufficient. The hotel manager went out of his way to help by driving home and bringing in his own WiFi converter for us to use, because the hotel equipment was waiting for repair on that day and there was no WiFi on the floor we stayed.
Parador de Baionia is magical! We loved it! Our original room was an interior one but a request to the desk moved us to a magnificent sea view with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks lulling me to sleep. We had lunch when we arrived and didn't want a large dinner so a plate of assorted cheeses and a few glasses of white wine was a perfect end to the day. Be sure to walk the sea walls and look out over the islands. Beautiful!
This was a total surprise. Seemed corporate but my god, the food was amazing. Clean, on the sea. Amazing breakfast buffet and dinners. Complete gem with great amenities.
Do not be fooled by the corporate look. Terrace with sea views and walking is easy.
Comfortable room; nice private bathroom; comfortable air conditioning. Helpful, friendly staff. Cool property with chocolate museum attached; building was a former chocolate factory. Central location in safe area; convenient to shopping and dining. Safe street parking was available and convenient. Would stay there again.
