We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Slovenia! There were several stairs to climb, but it was quiet and peaceful, and the staff was wonderful. The restaurant on the first floor served some of the most amazing food—a highlight of our stay! The hotel is in a sweet little town, perfectly located between Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, with beautiful surrounding mountains. We loved our time here and would definitely return—and stay longer next time!

The Hotel Jama is absolutely fabulous! Even though it was built in 1971, it is beautifully refurbished inside with elegant lounge areas and a lovely bar. Our room felt brand new - the whole hotel is even better than it looks on the website - and it looks pretty nice on there to begin with! The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, from the warm welcome at check-in and on departure to the staff in the restaurant at dinner. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our trip! Nestled in a quiet village just a 15-minute drive from the airport, this place is a gem. The hosts welcomed us warmly despite our late arrival and whipped up a great dinner. The room was big, the shower was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious. Waking up in such a serene environment—yet so close to the highway for our drive north—was absolute perfection.

Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next.
