Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories.
The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.
The Grand Hotel is a gem of a find in an adorable town. It is THE place to stay in Boska Voda. Right on the promenade and directly across from the beach. Tons of dining and entertainment options right out the door. The oceanfront view was amazing. The dining was really nice and the entire hotel was chic, updated and well done while retaining the old world charm that is hard to find anymore.

Comfortable, airy, clean room with great views. Restaurants within a reasonable walk along the beach. One of the best breakfast buffets we've seen outside of a Vegas casino. We later stated at another "luxury" hotel in Zadar for the same price. The Bluesun wins in every regard as the best place to stay.
We just left Hotel Tamaris and I could not wait to write a review! Parking was a breeze/free. We were greeted at reception by the friendliest lady (unfortunately did not get her name) who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were given an amazing room with the prettiest view of the sea! We stayed 6 nights (2 adults and 2 young adults) and rooms/bed were very nice size. It’s hard to find accommodations in Europe to have enough beds besides offering sofa in the living room to sleep 2, so this was refreshing to have.
