Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa

"The property is unique because of the hot springs and the history with the resort. It felt like I took a step back in time and it was an experience that you wouldn’t normally have at a hotel. This property needs updating. The carpets are past their prime and you can see dirt and dust building up throughout. The busy traffic in/out of the hot springs doesn’t help the floor situation. The Copper Room was enjoyable and I felt like I was about to enter a “Dirty Dancing” scene. It wasn’t that busy and they catered to special events like birthday’s and anniversary celebrations. The only downside was being woken up by the chambermaid an hour before checkout, knocking on the door and saying she knocked because it looked dark. Suggestion is to hang the do not disturb sign if you want to sleep in. We walked to down the street for breakfast as they serve until noon."

"This hotel was in a great location - just a few minutes to the beautiful lake and nearby coffee shops and restaurants! The price was excellent - much more affordable than any other hotel during the long weekend. Two areas for improvement: general upkeep and cleanliness. Overall, it was a good choice!"

"You almost expect a motel to be dark or not very clean sometimes, but this one absolutely surprised us in the best way. It was very new, clean and comfortable for us to stay. The best part was the location which is beach front. Free parking was a huge bonus. Our room was facing to the back alley but it was very quiet at night time. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t see many decorations in the room, but we had no complaints We will definitely love to come back to visit again!!"

"The Vedder is a good hotel for a place to sleep for a cheaper rate. The room interior is starting to get dated, the shower drain was slow and backed water up. Came back to the room to change before dinner between the first and second night and they were just cleaning the room even though we were gone since 9am. This is one of those, you get what you pay for properties."
