"This is definitely an older property but for the most part well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was fun to take the kayaks out. The only negative was that fishing off the docks was discouraged even though the actual fishing dock was underwater due to the river being too high due to earlier rains. All in all we had a very pleasant stay here. It was easy to get from here to everywhere we wanted to go."

"The Highlands was a fantastic surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the beautiful mountain location (with complementary chair lift), lovely pool, and excellent food. Would highly recommend."

"We stayed in the Chalet Edelweiss and were very pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the ammenities offered. Upon checkin we received our unlimited passes for the Ski-lift and Skybridge, along with free bike rentals, yoga classes and fun Chalet activities. When we came back to our room after dinner we found smore's kits for each of us along with our own sticks to toast them at the fire right outside our door. We had a great weekend enjoying the area and staying on Boyne property."

"The hotel is located about 2 miles from central Petosky, out in the countryside, away from the main activities of the city. The hotel is modern, comfortable, well maintained, and has a distinct hipster vibe. We were hoping to see Little Traverse Bay from the hotel, but the view was surprisingly blocked by tall evergreen trees. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower was very good. The WiFi was easy to connect to and the signal was decent. The staff was somewhat attentive and friendly but a little too laid back to provide a sense of professionalism. This is probably preferred by Millennial Hipsters :) The cost was outrageous: $500 per night for a room with 2 queen beds. Although our stay was pleasant, I probably would not stay here again due to the distance from Petosky and the cost."

"We loved the look, the cleanliness, the size and style of the room, the location, the breakfast and coffee. The only negative was the noise. We could hear every footstep and movement above us even late at night. For future I would just request the top floor."
