What a find! The staff (everyone) couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The room was spacious with a very comfortable king size bed, and roomy bathroom (especially for Europe). The breakfast was a shining star of goodness and breadth of choice. A beautiful property in the heart of Évora, with truly outstanding staff. Ana at reception was amazing — she went above and beyond, helping us with parking and a smooth check-in. We loved the ambience of this boutique hotel, and the location was perfect, within easy walking distance of all of Évora’s major sights. Breakfast was delicious, with a great spread to choose from. Highly recommend Ciciosa Boutique Hotel in Évora — an absolute must-stay!

Excellent stay

This was a one of kind place. One to disconnect and recharge in the middle of the Antelejo country side.

We were concerned about the process of room key acquisition, but we discovered by reading reviews that our physical check in is at the adjacent Ale Hop store. Quick and easy.

Wonderful experience! Lucia was an excellent host, providing great site seeing ideas, as well as tasty goat cheese from the farm. The pool was also a fantastic place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.

After issues with getting access codes that only seemed to be resolved with calling Germany directly, we checked in at the time they wanted despite being granted an early check in! After that all was good, clean efficient 2 rooms and living room, kitchen with all that was required. Espresso machine!! Laundry a bonus! But not the most efficient dryer. We celebrated my birthday and it was fantastic. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. We had a great dinner at MAPA restaurant. Breakfasts were also very good. Certainly would come back to this hotel.

great location away from everything, amazing place

This was a really lovely little hotel. I enjoyed my room so much I stayed in it more than I probably should have. The shower was amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water (not a given on this trip). The parking situation was not ideal but I guess for a hotel in a tiny city with narrow streets the options are never going to be great. This is a brand new ultra-modern hotel. It is like a work of art. The only thing that is not outstanding is the size of the rooms. However, the way to get around that is to make use during the day of the bar/breakfast room on the 4th floor. I spent 2-3 hours per day there reviewing my email and working on my computer. The entire hotel has speed wireless. The staff is friendly and always willing to help out. The maids do a fine job of cleaning each room. The breakfast is exceptional.

It was great.

Property is well placed for walking into the old city. Parking was excellent and a definite plus. Staff was helpful and management worked with us when an upset happened in our plans. Thought that breakfast offerings were a bit overpriced. Room was large and well placed, very neat and clean.
